Meet the Assistant Principal

A photo of Shamsah Sheikh

My name is Shamsah Sheikh, and I am excited to serve as one of the assistant principals at Sheffield Elementary. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas. I’m honored to have spent my entire educational career in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. I’ve taught at Landry Elementary and Sheffield Elementary. I was an instructional coach at Freeman, Furneaux, and Sheffield. Before coming back to Sheffield, I served as an assistant principal here at La Villita Elementary. I strongly believe that all students are capable of learning and achieving at high levels and that building a strong partnership with parents and our community will enable us to see all of our students shine bright!

I look forward to an amazing year of learning and growing!
