Meet the Assistant Principal
Priscilla Monroy
Hello Sheffield!
My name is Priscilla Monroy, I am honored to have the privilege to serve as one of the assistant principals at Sheffield Elementary School. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences and one in Psychology from Southern Methodist University. Most recently I earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University.
My journey in education began here in Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD. For five years I served as a classroom teacher, teaching Science Dual-Language and Spanish I at Vivian Field Middle School. During a period of this time I also served as the instructional coach for the science department at Vivian Field Middle School.
I strongly believe that all students are capable of learning and achieving at high levels and that building a strong partnership with parents and our community will enable us to see all of our students shine bright!

Joshua Nasiatka
My name is Joshua Nasiatka, and I am excited to serve the Sheffield community. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Bellevue
University and a Master of Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas.
It has been a privilege to have served my entire educational career here in Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD. I have a Special Education background while also contributing in various leadership roles at Vivian Field Middle School and for the district.
I have been married for 16 years to my amazing wife Aryka. We share four fantastic children; John, Alicia, Joshua, and Joslyn. Faith and family are what wakes me up in the morning and gives me purpose. I am a lifelong learner committed to elevating the learning and leadership capacity of those I serve. I am a product of many great leaders and wish to inspire future great leaders. #SheffieldSHINES
